Job Description

This is the general description of all the job openings that Pep is offering, brought to you by legitjobs. Pep Store is offering several job positions at various places where the candidates will be expected to lead a store team and be able to work in co-operation with managers and other staff members to meet business KPIs, including driving sales, cost control, mitigating risks and stock loss, administration, and ensuring world-class store standards. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be able to welcome clients and show them what they might be looking for in the store and must have good communication skills. Increase sales by focusing on client service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management, and promotional implementation
  • Stock loss is minimized by having a healthy store culture all the time, following security measures, and following stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Manage costs according to the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store and making sure administrative duties in the store are done according to company guidelines.
  • Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos means taking responsibility for team training, coaching, and performance, and maintaining general health, safety, and housekeeping standards

THE JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 10/11/12 
  • Proficient in English and any relevant tertiary education, a degree/diploma in a business- /retail-related field would be an advantage.
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment within a leadership role and computer literacy (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite) will be an advantage).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, as well as strong managerial capabilities—the ability to plan, lead, organize, and control.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work retail hours.
