The Minimum Requirements
- Excel skills and Good organizing, numerical, and administrative skills
- Minimum grade: 12, Team player
- Must be responsible, able to work with minimum supervision, and energetic, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
key Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate cashless reports daily and compare them to cashier summary and Initiate workflow for any incorrect cashless payments
- Review the speeded device register for completeness and help with stock reconciliations: bread and confectionery.
- Daily SIV and write-off verification of trucks returned from routes and replacing cashiers biweekly on Saturdays.
- Help in the cash office during the afternoon “rush” and Maintain the stationery register to be reviewed by the Financial Manager
- Act as a leave reliever when admin staff are on leave, perform ad hoc duties, and help the bakery manager with administrative duties when required.

Job Description
RCL Foods is seeking to recruit a meticulous and adaptable, dynamic, highly energized individual in the role of maintenance assistant within the baking business unit. A suitable prospect will be required to help with planned and preventative maintenance of machinery as well as repair basic machine breakdowns
This role will be based in Durban and report to the maintenance manager.
Minimum Requirements Education

Skills and Experience
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English, Good numeracy, and must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow specified procedures, and A 2-3 years of practical experience as a maintenance assistant, preferably in a production environment with a bakery background, is advantageous.
- Mechanical or Electrical experience
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Practice health and safety and food safety procedures at all times and follow maintenance technician instructions, ensuring planned and preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time.
- Report breakdowns immediately to the maintenance technician and work quickly and safely to help repair the machine. Help with jobs about building and facility maintenance.
- Help with special projects and make sure the toolbox is fully stocked and kept in a clean, hygienic state.
- Ensure the maintenance workshop is clean and tidy at all times, with all items in their correct place. Ensure the work area is clean and tidy and that good housekeeping practices are maintained in the workplace.
Administrative Duties
- Complete tasks as per the job card issued and once the job is complete, obtain a sign-off from the technician on the job card.
Food Safety
- Adhere to food safety guidelines as per company policies and procedures and abide by all Good Manufacturing Practices requirements as set out by the employer.
- Ensure all work areas are cleaned and free from contaminants after maintenance work has been done.
