Key Duties & Responsibilities

KNOWLEDGE

• Exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments will be advantageous.
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
• Basic knowledge of Stores related ERP systems will be beneficial

• Grade 12 with Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy passed with 40%
• Two South African Languages passed with 40%
• Studying towards Operations Management
• Completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
• Willing to complete In-Service/ Experiential Training in Industry
• Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• must be a South African Citizen
• Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
• Must be between 18-35 years of age
• Candidate must have a letter from the institution requesting work place experience for in order for the candidate to complete their qualification.

Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in the HR & Project Department. We are looking for talented individuals to obtain the relevant skills and development towards a National Certificate in Business Administration—Learnership, which will be based at multiple sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Complete NQF Level 4: National Certificate—Business Administration Programme. Provide administrative support throughout the year, during peak business periods, and when teams are on leave. The Learnership is a structured integrated learning programme that combines theoretical (formal) training and on-the-job learning (structured work experience).

The Minimum Requirements

• A Grade 12 qualification in Maths and English (pass rate of at least 50%) is essential Proficiency in English and any other South African language 1 year of work experience.
• Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization 
• South African Citizens: Employment Equity Candidate 
• Must be unemployed Aged between 18 and 35, and presenting a valid medical record detailing their disability, candidates must be willing to commit for 12 months, self-motivated, Organised, results-driven, and attentive to detail.
•  Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work in a flexible working environment (includes weekends and public holidays), Ability to work in a pressurized working environment, No criminal record or a negative credit record, Candidates must not be enrolled in any formal full-time studies.
• The candidate must be willing to attend classes on weekdays, and Saturdays, if required, and must be willing to work at the regional location.

We are looking for young, talented individuals for package learnership opportunities in our various regions in CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the training controller.

KEY PURPOSE

This qualification recognizes the learner’s full development in food and beverage packaging, promoting mobility., and portability in the field of beverage manufacturing and the fast-moving consumer goods environment. Learners will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The learner will be exposed to:

• Bottling processes and procedures, Safety and housekeeping standards
• Quality tests, specifications and Food handling practices

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

• Self-motivated, Attention to detail, Ability to interact well in teams and ability to work effectively in teams 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
• Two South African Languages passed with 40%
• Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a South African Citizen and be an Equity candidate
• Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment and be between 18-35 years of age
• Candidates must be willing to commit to 12-month learnership program

General

A learner embarking on this qualification needs to get a minimum value of 120 credits to qualify for the qualification; this learnership runs over 12 months.
